Getting Started

01 What's the difference between BHRT and traditional hormone replacement?
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones that are molecularly identical to the ones your body produces. Traditional HRT often uses synthetic analogs. Beyond the molecule, the bigger difference is approach: BHRT is typically paired with comprehensive labs and ongoing recalibration, while traditional HRT often uses fixed doses.
If you’re 30 or older and noticing changes (fatigue that doesn’t respond to sleep, slower recovery, mood shifts, lower libido, brain fog, weight that won’t move), you may be a candidate. The 15-minute Discovery call is designed exactly to answer this question with data, not guesswork.
Fill out the request form (just your name, email, and phone), and Jenn will reach out personally to schedule your free 15-minute Discovery call. On that call, we talk through your symptoms and decide which testing makes sense for you. From there, the next step is a comprehensive intake visit where we order labs. About 10 days later, we meet again to review results together and decide, together, what to do next.
Initial visits are in-person at our Gainesville location so we can do a full evaluation. Most follow-ups can be virtual once you’re settled into your protocol. We work around your schedule.

Treatment

Most patients notice meaningful change within 3 to 6 weeks, typically starting with sleep and energy. Full optimization, where mood, recovery, and body composition settle into a new normal, usually takes 3 to 4 months of calibration.
For appropriate candidates, BHRT has a strong safety record when supervised properly. We screen carefully, monitor labs frequently, and adjust dosing as your body responds. Safety isn’t a one-time conversation. It’s the way the practice runs.
Depending on what fits your life and your physiology, we use creams, injections, pellets, or oral options. Most patients land on the route that’s easiest for them to maintain consistently. Consistency is what matters most.

Peptide therapies and other integrative options are available as part of our Concierge program, or as standalone services for specific goals like joint recovery, sleep architecture, or skin health. We’ll discuss whether they’re a fit at your Discovery call.

Yes. Medical weight management is one of our three pillars. It often pairs with hormone work because the two systems talk to each other constantly. We use modern, provider-led approaches including GLP-1 medications and metabolic labs to address the root causes of weight that won’t move.

Pricing & Insurance

Yes. The 15-minute Discovery call is free and carries no commitment. It exists so we can tell each other whether we’re a fit before you spend a dollar.
Hormone optimization is generally not covered by insurance. Most labs and visits are eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement, and we provide all the documentation you need. We’ll be transparent about cost before you commit.
Pricing varies by program. The Discovery call is free. From there, we’ll walk you through Calibrate and Concierge program options and the cost of labs/medications during your intake. See the Programs page for a high-level view.
